The
Magoito beach is located in Sintra (Lisbon
district), Portugal. This beach is
rich in iodine, with great
extension of sand and it’s next to Praia
da Aguda. From its sand, among the numerous arising rocks, it is possible to
glimpse, in the far south, the Cabo da Roca (Cape Roca).
The
called “consolidated dune” is one of the most interesting geological points of the beach. It is a coastal dune
formed by the accumulation of sand generated by the
combined action of the sea and wind.
